Loving Vincent - from Arles to Auvers-sur-Oise

This evening, we will complete the biography of Vincent’s troubled, but incredibly fruitful artistic life, beginning with his admission to the hospital in Arles after he mutilated himself, continuing with the period of a year in the private Sanatorium, St-Paul-de-Mausole, St Remy, to which he admitted himself in May1889. And then finally after a brief visit to Theo, his wife Johanna and his godson in Paris, on to Auvers-sur-Oise, where after another intensive two months of work, he shot himself and died in Theo’s arms in the early hours of 29th July 1890.
